Clifford Reseigh
A report posted on KOB.com reported that one of the escapees from the Archuleta County jail, Clifford Reseigh, has been shot and killed during a region-wide manhunt.

Another "news alert" report on the same website claimed that the second escapee, Jason Snow, had been captured.

The most recent update noted briefly:

"Colorado jail escapee Jason Snow has been captured in the Dulce/Lumberton area of northern New Mexico. More details as they become available."

An earlier report first posted yesterday states:

"State police say one wanted jail escapee from southern Colorado is dead and another remains on the lam after a run-in with Jicarilla Apache tribal police officers near Dulce Thursday afternoon.

"Rio Arriba County officials advised residents near County Road 537 and US 64 to stay in their homes as authorities searched for the outstanding escapee.

"Police had been looking for 24-year-old Jason Snow and 45-year-old Clifford Reseigh after they reportedly attacked a jail guard Tuesday night and stole a car, escaping from a jail near Pagosa Springs, Colo.

"Police said late Thursday that Reseigh was shot and killed in the confrontation. A manhunt remained underway late Thursday for Snow and vehicles in the area were being stopped and checked by local authorities in at least one roadblock.

"Police say tribal police followed up on a tip the two escapees were in an abandoned RV or trailer northeast of Dulce. Police say the two men were found inside, and one suspect ran while the other attacked officers.

"Snow was behind bars for charges including assault, and Reseigh was being held on a parole violation."
