EDITOR'S NOTE: We accidentally ran this announcement last week with the wrong date. Here is the updated version. We apologize for any confusion.
Sunday, July 25, is the annual Pagosah Unitarian Universalist Summer Picnic. It will be held in the back yard of past PUUF president, Susan Junta.
"Since for everything there's a season, summer season is for relaxing," says Junta. "The sun beats down and even the trees seem to rest for a time, as if to meditate and gather strength for more strenuous times ahead."
All are invited to enjoy the flowers and a fun-filled morning as we share our gifts and talents. John Graves will guide the ceremonies.
The young people and children are invited to celebrate being "in fellowship with the Fellowship," and families are encouraged to participate together for this festive event. Following the service, there will be a potluck lunch, so please bring some food to share. Come at 10:00am for coffee and conversation. The festivities will start at 10:30am.
The address is 226 Pines Club Place. From the UU Fellowship Hall in Greenbriar Plaza, go east on Park Avenue. Turn right at the stop sign onto Carlee Place. Take next left onto Pines Club Place, then proceed to 8th house on the left. |
